Terms, Privacy & Refunds

Terms of Service

These terms apply to anyone who uses topboli, creates a listing or pays for one. By using the site or completing a payment you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site and don't pay. The rules shown under How it works are part of these terms; if the two ever differ, these terms apply.

What you're buying

topboli is a paid public leaderboard. A payment buys a position on the board, set only by the total paid for a listing, at whatever rank that total supports when the payment is confirmed. Anyone can pay more and rank above you. All-time rankings do not expire; the Today board resets at midnight IST.

Every listing is a paid advertisement, not a review, endorsement or recommendation by us. A position does not buy any number of visitors, clicks, sign-ups or sales, a fixed time at a rank, or any ranking on Google or other search engines. Links to listed sites are marked as sponsored. We may change, pause or stop features of the site, including the ranking rules and minimum amounts, but a change never alters a payment already made.

Who can list

You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding contract under Indian law. If you list or pay for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it, and "you" includes that business.

What you promise us

By submitting a link or making a payment, you confirm that:

• you own the website, app or X account, or are authorised to promote it;
• you are not impersonating another person, brand or business, and are not listing someone else's site or account without their permission;
• the name and pitch you submit are accurate and not misleading;
• the listing and the site it leads to comply with Indian law, including advertising, consumer protection, data protection and intellectual property law, and hold any licence they need.

What is not allowed

You may not list:

• adult or sexual content;
• real-money betting, gambling or gaming;
• chat or group invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and similar);
• link shorteners, or links that redirect to a different site;
• malware, phishing, scams or sites built to deceive visitors;
• counterfeit goods, pirated content, or anything that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark;
• content that is defamatory, hateful, harassing or violent, or that exploits children;
• offers that need a licence you don't hold (for example financial, medical or legal services);
• anything else unlawful in India.

You also may not:

• inflate click counts;
• use bots or automated scripts to place bids or scrape the board;
• get around rate limits or our link checks;
• otherwise interfere with the site.

Links are checked automatically before payment and re-checked daily.

Our right to remove listings

We may refuse, hide, re-categorise, edit (only to remove unlawful or misleading text) or permanently remove any listing, with or without notice:

• if we believe it breaks these terms or the law;
• if a rights holder or authority complains;
• if it creates a legal or security risk.

We may also refuse future listings from anyone who breaks these terms. A listing removed for breaking these terms is not refunded.

Names, logos and site details

To show a listing we display the name, pitch and link you submit, along with the listed site's public icon, fetched through Google's favicon service. You give us a free, non-exclusive permission to show this on topboli for as long as the listing exists. Other brands' names and icons are shown only to identify the listed site. That does not mean the brand owner sponsors or endorses topboli, unless the listing was paid for by that owner. The topboli name and site design are ours.

Complaints about a listing

If a listing infringes your rights, impersonates you or your business, or leads to an unlawful site, email us at the address under Contact below. Include:

1. your name and contact details;
2. the topboli listing link;
3. what the problem is;
4. a statement that your complaint is accurate and that you are the affected person or authorised to act for them.

We may hide the listing while we look into it, and we may share the complaint with the person who listed it.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. It may sometimes be unavailable, slow or wrong. We do not check what listed businesses claim, and click and visitor counts are what our systems recorded, not a promise of results. Listed sites are run by others, under their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

Limit of liability

To the extent Indian law allows:

• we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss;
• our total liability for any claim about a listing is limited to the amount you paid for that listing.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be waived.

Your responsibility for your listing

You agree to cover us for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise from your listing, the site or account it leads to, a payment dispute you raise without valid reason, or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. A payment is always governed by the terms in force when it was made, unless a change is required by law.

General

These terms, together with the privacy and refund policies on this page, are the whole agreement between you and us. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

We store what you submit (URL, title, tagline, category), payment records from Razorpay (order id, payment id, amount, time), aggregate click counts, and visitor counts made from a one-way hash of your IP address with a random salt that changes every day (the IP itself is never stored; each day's hashes and salt are deleted when the day ends, so they can't be linked across days, and they are never included in backups). Card numbers and bank logins are entered only on Razorpay's checkout and never reach our servers. Razorpay's payment notifications to us include the email, phone number, UPI ID or card network used for a payment; we use them only to confirm the payment and do not store them. Razorpay processes payment details under its own privacy policy. Listing details are public by design. We do not sell personal data.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted (except payment records we must keep by law), by emailing the address under Contact below. Complaints about how we handle your data go to the same address.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All payments are final. A boli is a one-time purchase of a public position on the board, and it is delivered the moment the payment is confirmed and the listing appears. Once a payment is confirmed and the listing is live, the amount will not be refunded and the listing will not be taken down in exchange for a refund, for any reason, including:

• being outranked by someone who paid more, or dropping off the Today board at midnight IST;
• receiving fewer clicks, visitors or sales than you hoped for;
• changing your mind, paying more than you intended, or no longer wanting the listing.

Removing a listing at your request is possible (email us), but it does not entitle you to a refund. Listings removed for breaking these terms are removed without refund.

The only exception: if you were charged but your listing did not appear within 24 hours (a technical failure on our side), email us with your Razorpay payment id and we will either list it or refund the full amount within 7 working days to the original payment method.

By completing a payment you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy. If you dispute a confirmed payment with your bank or card issuer instead, we will contest it with the record of your listing; if the bank still reverses the payment, the rank that payment bought is removed. A payment dispute raised without a valid reason breaks these terms, and we may refuse future listings from you.

Nothing in this policy takes away a right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be waived.

Shipping / Delivery

This is a digital service; no physical goods are shipped. Delivery is the listing appearing on the board, normally instantly.
